YouTube is a resource for video clips online but it is not moderated with children in mind and so is not suitable as a resource in the classroom. However, it does have many useful clips on it that are up to date and relevant.

For this reason, this small piece of software is excellent. You can find the video clip you want to use away from the children and download it onto your hard drive or pen drive. Then it can be played, in isolation, using media player / real player etc in the classroom. It can also be left on the desktop for ease of location.
